You are invited to submit one monotype or monoprint to Quarter Sheet: Almost Legal, a member’s exhibition of the Monotype Guild of New England. All works must be 11” x 15” (a quarter sheet) and should be unframed.

Entry is open to all current MGNE members. You can become a member when you register your entry.

  • One piece may be entered with a $15 registration fee.
  • All work must be 11” x 15” (orientation can be portrait or landscape).
  • All work must be unframed and unmatted.
  • Work must have been completed in the last five years and not previously been shown at an MGNE exhibition.
  • Registered works should be shipped between Mon. Sept. 15 and Fri. Sept.19. Further instructions will be provided after registration.
  • Must include a prepaid UPS or FedEx shipping label.
  • Submissions that do not include a pre-paid UPS or FedEx shipping label will not be returned to the artist.
  • Due to limited wall space, registration is open on a first come, first serve basis.
  • All work will be handled with respect and care. MGNE, its members, and volunteers will not be responsible for any loss or damage to work. Artists accept these Call-For-Entry terms.

Gravity Press Experimental Print Studio is a fine art printmaking workshop specializing in the creation of unique prints by established and emerging artists. The workshop will begin at 10 am each morning with a 2-3 hour demonstration by master printmaker Brandon Graving, followed by individual time with the instructor and open studio until 10 pm. You will receive personalized technical assistance to help create and expand your artistic vision.

Innovative equipment allows for embossing and extreme-viscosity techniques that are not possible on more traditional equipment. Start by working small as you explore new exciting printmaking methods and materials. You will also have the opportunity to work very large or choose to work collaboratively with your group. Open your mind and explore the limitless possibilities in this supportive and non- threatening environment.

*MGNE Registration & Refund Policy Registration is not complete until payment has been received. Registration is on a first come basis. A $25 non-reundable registration is included in the tuition. If a student cancels their registration one-month prior to start of the workshop a refund will be offered only if MGNE is able to fill the space. In the unlikely event that MGNE must cancel the workshop due to low enrollment, we will refund your payment in-full.
