My work is primarily grounded between printmaking and painting. It is of a personal perspective evocative from sites I have seen or material I have looked at. The search in the work is to provide a meditative or contemplative feel or look having a spiritual nature. The entry point of the work is through the process of layering the work, layer upon layer of pigments which is either becoming semirealism or a total abstraction. But I am always searching for a mysterious luminosity of light that gives the subject a significance of something old that is evolving into a new statement.
