EDUCATION: B.A. Fine Arts—Bridgewater State College
Also studied Art/Printmaking at the following educational  institutions:

University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth; Massachusetts College of Fine Art; Bennington College, Vermont; South Shore Art Center, Cohasset, MA; Newport Art Museum, Newport, RI; University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada
The images I create are not attempts at portraiture but are my emotional reaction to a specific place at a specific time….as suggestion of a moment remembered rather then observed.
My passion for creating monotypes evolved from my discovery of the mediums process. It allows me spontaneity and the ability to utilize painterly techniques to convey powerful images, both conceptually and formally that I hope will elicit a reaction from the viewer. I want to engage the viewer’s curiosity and allow them to find something in the work that speaks to them.

My work often explores the universal topics of old age, isolation, courage, vulnerability and mortality.
