I have exhibited in greater New England in over a dozen solo shows and innumerable dual and multiple artist ones. A watercolorist primarily, I have over the years shifted my major attention to oil monotypes and related work. Working with both press and manually I find both allow spontaneity unlike that in any other kind of work. My themes range from realism and nature to psychological ideas and abstractions, and they often reflect my wanderlust, which is an avenue to impressions and images upon which I can expand.

Within the past two years my work has been selected for the covers of two psychological journals. I am affiliated with several art associations and was for years a member of the Stebbins Gallery in Harvard Square.

I had a big exhibition in Brookline of 35 paintings and monotypes this June and July (2003) and have been invited to mount another show for November and December.   The local health club also asked me to do a show for them.  The exhibit contains monotypes  (all water reflection scenes), oils and watercolors, and fortunately for me has been highly successful.
