I am etcher, serigrapher and painter, but in the last 20 years I am doing monoprints than my main way of expression. For me the monoprints is the opportunity that express myself in two different languages: The Graphic voice and the voice of the painting.
Using this two ways of expression For me I can produce an image superior of the two techniques separately. This media offer to me the freedom and freshness than the Painting and the Printmaking by itself can do it.
I am very accomplish with this technique which permit me enter and won prizes in the Top Ranking International Prints Competition in Europe, Asia, United States and the Caribbean. My tools are: A Charles Brand Press, oil, acrylic plate, and Rives BFK Paper 250 grams acid free. I work with rolls, rags, combs, pencils, brushes and any kind of instrument which can building up a good texture even my hands.
